I have personally found this to be a mandatory install for ages, across different weather and lighting mods. No more bright distant objects (Optional): Darker Distant LOD: It has no plugins, so it's safe to remove at any time. If you don't like the effect this has on a particular texture, simply delete the folder where things have become too sharp, or the whole mod.
This will make textures sharper and more detailed.
Load this before everything else and let it get overwritten by anything else you install. The Best Skyrim Landscape & Exterior Textures:
